While I was home in Ottawa I took a few minutes in between periods of a Senators game to hit the tramp in the back yard of my buddies place. Thanks to Hannah and Jen for the bounce.
The weekend was wicked and the weather held off. The crowds were hot, the temperature was not. Thanks to everyone who laughed along with me on these fun shows.
I have had the great pleasure and privilege to interview some very neat people. One of the hi-lites has got to be Tom Cochrane. That guy is as cool as a stool. He gave me one-hour of his undivided attention and also bought me a martini. I was also lucky enough to interview Joel O’Keefe, lead singer and guitar player for international rock group sensations, Airborne, an AC/DCesque type band from Australia and also sporting brothers, but beyond that there should be no comparison. This band kicks ass.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Doom
On Jan 19-21 I will be privileged and excited to open for this legend of the comedy world at the Calgary Yuk Yuk’s in the Elbow River Casino. Considered one of the best joke writers and possibly one of the dirtiest, come see this unique and very funny man, and myself of course, rock the crowds.
Great days in Kelowna with bro and sis in law at Thanksgiving.
This is a photo of Bow Lake taken by Paul Zizka. He is a mountain guide and photographer, whom I worked with at Num Ti Jah Lodge. I was hiking in this area, on a full moon night, in September of 2011 with my buddy David. We decided to sleep on the shore in our MEC bags. In the morning, asian tourists were taking our picture. Check out this place. It’s magical.
I went home to Ontario after being in Dominican Republic for two weeks. I arrived in Toronto and went to Hamilton for the night with Casey Corbin and met up with Stan Thompson and my old roommate, Marc Sauve. The following day I took a bus to Ottawa to visit friends and family. After a few days of freezing my ass off in Ottawa I returned to Toronto to perform at the Mississauga Yuks Club with Aaron Berg and Gerry Dee.
